You have to save this file to disk. Then copy it as root to /opt/kde2/share/apps/kdisplay/color-schemes. Note that the your path before ../share/apps/kdisplay/color-scheme may differ. You can also copy this file as normal user in your Home-directory to .kde2/share/apps/kdisplay/color-scheme or .kde/share/../ As i said before this can differ. You can get this out with set in an console. Then watch out for this KDEDIR=/opt/kde2 or KDEDIR=/usr/local/kde. Good Luck !
I've tried a number of different methods, but I can't seem to make this work. When I download the file, I get a text file that appears to contain the color codes for different parts of the window(s), which makes sense to me. When I go to the control center in Mandrake 8.1, I can't see the scheme so I can't select it. Where do I need to put the file so that KDE can see it, or do I need to manually create a scheme and type in the numbers. If that is the case, there were several items in the document that did not have matching items in the control center. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I set it up with some mostly-green wallpaper at home. It's very soothing to stare at all day.
The fonts are not part of this scheme. It's a color scheme only. I'm at 1024x768, so the fonts are perfect for me. =)
The font used is not very good to read.
