WinAte -Windows 7/8 Transformation Pack
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
I took some stuff from the old Win2-7 pack, and a bit of inspiration from the Imagine 7 and Imagine 8 themes for Openbox. All the config files, and the modifications to both sources were made entirely by me. Find me in Taringa.net
Required packages: gtk2-engines-murrine; gtk2-engines-pixbuf; compton.
IMPORTANT: THIS PACK HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO WORK WITH DEBIAN 8 (JESSIE), AND PROBABLY WON'T WORK WITH ANY PREVIOUS VERSION. UBUNTU IS CURRENTLY SUPPORTED (BY INSTALLING LXDE PACKAGE AND COMPTON PPA), BUT LUBUNTU ISN'T (THERE WILL BE AN UPDATE AVAILABLE SOON TO GET IT WORKING PROPERLY
For updating the pack, please uninstall any previous version first.

Paquetes necesarios: gtk2-engines-murrine; gtk2-engines-pixbuf; compton.

This reminds me of those attempts with icewm, blackbox, etc of 10-15years ago to look cool and clever. Didn't work then and ...
I really hate the way some people just say something isn't good. Is it too difficult to suggest improvements? I really want to do a better job, but you aren't doing anything but annoy me.
trying to make openbox do something it can't is just poor execution and no amount of transparency from compton will help. work on how the native wm's look good and improve that. this is opendesktop and these days its only full of spammers and trolls. get used to it.
Trying to make software do things it isn't meant to do is what made GNU/Linux possible. There wouldn't be Openbox at all if people had though the way you do. There isn't a "pure" GNU/Linux appearance. If you think so, you don't know anything about history nor software. You should be using Windows.
